Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan was injured on Thursday in Mumbai during the shooting of a film he's starring in, television reports said.
Khan was busy shooting for his upcoming film Happy New Year when he sustained minor injuries. He was taken to the Nanavati Hospital soon afterwards.
The shoot was taking place at a hotel in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
Reports said a door crashed on Khan during the shoot following which he started bleeding and was rushed to the hospital.
CNN-IBN quoted the Nanavati hospital's casualty department as saying that Khan was in physiotherapy.
"Shahrukh Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. He is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!" an official statement from Shahrukh Khan's office said.
Meanwhile, reports said shooting of Farah Khan's Happy New Year has been temporarily stopped.
The 48-year-old actor has acted in more than 80 films in a career spanning more than two decades.
It is not immediately clear how the door came off its hinges.
Khan often refuses to use a stunt double in action films.
