JAMSHORO: Five members of the same family, including a bride, were killed on Saturday in a fatal road accident on the Indus Highway near the Jamshoro toll plaza.
The accident was caused when their car was hit by a speeding truck on the Indus Highway.
The bride, her father-in-law, mother, sister and their car driver were killed on the spot, while the groom and his sister were severely injured. The injured were shifted to Liaquat Medical Centre, Jamshoro, where their condition was said to be critical.
According to the family sources, the deceased were travelling to Karachi after the marriage ceremony held in Larkana, when the accident occurred.
